German language. Bound in green cloth with beveled edges; titles are stamped in gilt. Dritte auflage (third printing), stated. Text edges in red. Illustrated with photographs and folding facsimile documents. Decorated endpapers. The cloth shows only very light edgewear, with slightly bumped corners but no frays. Hinges solid; binding square. A clean, tight, unmarked copy.
