Canberra: Australian War Memorial, 1983. Hardback oblong quarto, dustjacket, very good condition (in good plus dustjacket), black & white & colour reproductions (most full-page), black & white frontispiece portrait, top edge front cover jacket near spine creased (repaired reverse side), otherwise excellent. 96 pp. Anne Gray, a staffer at the Australiuan War Memorial, Canberra, describes in detail the war paintings of Henry Fullwood (World War 1). They are assessed and re-evaluated in terms of the the artist's whole achievement. He was a friend of Arthur Streeton and Tom Roberts, and is nearly as well known. He was also a prolific and popular illustrator and printmaker. In 1918 the Australian Government choose him as one of its first official war artists.
