VG (Book- Mild shelf wear, shelf soiling incl. liquid splash marks to spine which is also a little sunned, previous owner book plate to front paste down - Adolphus William Ward late Master of Peterhouse Cambridge and later same family (Maternal side) Sir John and Lady Barnes bookplate to free front end paper (Late British Ambassador to The Netherlands and previously Israel) Offset browning to free end papers and mild to moderate foxing to prelims and occasionally to margins. Tissue guards tanned, a little dust ingression to fore edge of deckled pages.Binding sound with no other notable defects). NB The size and quality paper of the book block make for a very heavy tome and we may need to seek additional postage for overseas shipping.
