New York: The Macmillan Company, 1932 Light blue cloth. With frontispiece and text wood engravings by Lewis. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the author on front endpaper. Intended for a young female audience, this novel is about a 16-year-old who is an important "act" in a traveling freak show which features her father, the giant, performing animals, and other characters. Light age-browning to gutters and endpapers near hinges. Otherwise clean and tight in a lightly-to-moderately edgeworn dust jacket; minute tears and minor creasing to upper edge.
