Ex-library, with stamps, old shelf marks, and presentation bookplates (both works were gifts of the author) from the Cleveland Museum of Art, with deaccessioning stamps. Artist's book in two volumes exploring the concept of inherited physical and intellectual traits through photography and text. The first volume contains images of two parents and their adult sons. All four appear in portraits in swimwear, followed by closeups of ears, hands, feet, followed by detailed textual descriptions of the two sons that draw numerous comparisons to their parents. The second volume focuses entirely on the artist and traits inherited from her parents and grandparents. Tacha is a sculptor and photographer most known for her numerous public art commissions. She was the curator of modern art at the Oberlin College Art Museum and taught sculpture there from 1973 until 2000.
