True first edition with "published October 1903" on copyright page with no other mention of later printings.
Book is exceptionally tight and crisp with no loss to gilding or ink and the original green cloth is bright with no loss. Just a hint of wear to the head and foot of spine light wear to edges, and one corner bumped. Interior is clean and complete with just a hint of age toning.
