W & R Chambers Limited. Good+ in Poor dust jacket. 1928. Hardcover. A good hardcover in a poor price-clipped dustwrapper. The book is in blue cloth covered boards tanned to the edges and bumped/rubbed spine ends/corners, "Boy's Brigade" gift plate on the front endpaper (Glasgow 251st and dated 1936), toned lightly foxed pages soiled and foxed to text-block edges. The frail aged price-clipped dustwrapper is well creased/rubbed to all edges with small losses to spine ends/flap tips - supplied in a new removable archival sleeve. Attractive colour frontispiece and three mono plates by J. R. Burgess. Carefully packaged and posted within 48 hours from our wee bookshop in Scotland. .
