London: Chapman and Hall, 1889. Book. Illus. by color frontispiece shooting from elephant, folding map, 6 other plates all but one in color. Good. Hardcover. 3rd Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. "New" edition, the same year as the first edition, in the original dark green cloth with a horned animal head in gilt on the front and a gilt title on the spines. Worn spine ends and two inches of the rear hinge at the top is split. A fair amount of wear to the edges and outside hinges. But it remains solid. And clean and tight inside with no foxing and no stains. Now protected in a clear, mylar dust jacket. Czech Asia pages 81-82. Also same binding as the first edition. .
