New York: Macmillan, 1917. ex-library, Book is a 2nd printing of the first edition, soiled covers, blue cloth with gold lettering, still very readable, minor edgewear to the extreme edges and spine ends, former owners bookplate inside front cover, another owners signature on the first leaf in ink dated 1917, 1st title page has an inscription(long one in small area involving the title on that page. black ink number bottom of the copyright page, remnants Day Due page, withdrawn inside rear cover and removed pocket. With all that said it is still a nice book. foxing to the last leaf inside the cover, very tight and square. Hard Cover. Good - Very Good/No Jacket.

Synopsis

His Family is a novel by Ernest Poole published in 1917 about the life of a New York widower and his three daughters in the 1910s. It received the first Pulitzer Prize for the Novel in 1918.
