FIRST EDITION 1811. 8vo, approximately 215 x 135 mm, 8¼ x 5¼ inches, 5 HAND COLOURED PLATES, including frontispiece, pages: vi, [7]-184, last page blank, bound in contemporary full tan calf, gilt lettered maroon label, extra gilt spine, double gilt rule to borders of covers, narrow gilt dentelles and gilt decoration to edges of covers, marbled endpapers and edges. Binding slightly rubbed with a few small marks and light scratches, plates have pale offset from text, some light patchy browning to plates and text, mostly to the first part of the book, occasional spot, endpapers age-browned, shelf label of Kimbolton Castle library, otherwise a very attractive copy.
