Good. 2 volumes octavo (24 cm); xii, [2], 415; xii, [2], 437, [2] ads; color lithograph frontispieces, wood engraved figures on title pages, and frequently in text, and 10 lithograph plates (9 colored). In original gilt-stamped maroon cloth by Edmonds and Remnant, a bit mottled. Old cello-tape removal marks on pastedowns, evidence of erstwhile mylar jackets. Owner's blindstamp on title pages. Ownership inscription on front blank. Lower hinges a little abraded, but text is clean and fresh, sound, and entire.
