New York, NY: Baker & Taylor Company, 1906 Four volume set. All volumes in Good Plus condition with moderate cover and edge wear. Volume I has light soiling on front cover. Volumes II and III have the back inner hinges reinforced. Bindings strong. All volumes bound in dark blue cloth with gilt spine lettering and design. All volumes are internally clean and free of signatures, notes, underlining, etc. Volumes I & II by Russell Sturgis (1906 & 1909), Volumes III & IV by A.L Frothingham (1915). Volume I, Antiquity; Volume II, Romanesque and Oriental; Volume III, Gothic in Italy, France and Northern Europe; Volume IV, Gothic in Great Britain, Renaissance and Modern Architecture. Well illustrated with black & white photos and illustrations. Index in volume IV.
