About This Item
Preston, Worthington, 1857, pp. xvii, 687, many engravings and a folding map (creased, but complete). Original blue cloth, gilt edges, spine dull and rubbed, but still tight and sound. A unique copy inscribed on the title page "with corrections and annotations by the author, Charles Hardwick 1876", also an inscription inside the front cover "J A Eastwood, 24 April 1877. from the Author". Numerous notes and corrections in ink throughout. Plates with dampstains to lower corners.
