Green wrappers with embossed gilt lettering to front cover; yapp edges. Originally formed in 1893 as the 'Southern California Fruit Exchange' by P.J. Dreher and his son Edward L. Dreher the 'father' of the California citrus industry, this influential organization re-named itself 'California Fruit Growers Exchange' in 1905. Represents an important chapter in California history. (Rocq 6773).
