The Canadian Pacific was an important contributor to the Merchant Navy, providing ships to carry troops in both World Wars. Written by Frank C Bowen, author of naval histories. With numerous black and white photographic illustrations in text. Featuring numerous leaves of advertisements to front and rear. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally with shelf wear, bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities, some damp mark to back strip and boards. Staining mark affecting inner gutter first few leaves, not affecting text but cockling leaves slightly. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Good
