Finely bound in contempoary calf, spine in five compartments with four floral decorations, four raised bands bordered in gilt rules, gilt rules front and back. Complete with map and all plates, all of which Near Fine. The bookplate of Thomas Bowman Whytehead, noted York freemason and antiquarian, at front pastedown. Very Good Plus, end pages toned, pp. 51-54 loose and laid in, prior owner name in ink 2nd front end page. signature of pp. 257-280 bound after p. 224. A quite handsome and complete copy in lovely binding. . 4th Edition. Full Calf. Very Good Plus/No Jacket, As Issued. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
