Two volumes in grey-green cloth titled in gilt on spines, boards blindstamped; yellow coated endpapers; xl,527,[1]pp; [xx],547,[1]pp; frontispiece portraits, map in vol. I, additional plate in vol. II. Multiple ownership inscriptions to endpapers, some contemporary. Sound but rubbed with minor wear to board edges, foxed throughout: Very Good. The frst edition was published in 1847. GARDINER P-7.
