Vol 1 only. With biographical notices of early London cutlers. The author was Master of the Company from 1907-8. Signed presentation notice pasted on front fixed end paper but the name has faded. 9 illustrations. There is a 6cm closed tear to the facsimile of the Ordinances of the Fraternity of the Mistery of Cutlers of London (facing Page 15). Deckled edging. Foxing and toning to front and rear prelims. Long split to front and rear end papers and some creasing. 372 Pages. Contents clean and binding firm. 1st Edition. Condition: Good+. Binding: Hardcover. Cloth boards with gilt device and lettering. Some edge-wear to extremities. Light rubbing.
