New York: A. L. Burt Book. Very Good (Book condition). Half Leather. A nice set with red hand-marbled paper over boards, and red leather spines and corners. Marbled endpapers, gilt top-edges, and gilt lettering and tooling to spine. The spines are lightly sunned, and occasionally nicked. The leather hinges are brittle, but have been conditioned to prevent further drying. Some loss at crown of spine of Vol. 5. All texts clean, and bindings tight. [Our rating system: 1. Fine; 2. Near Fine; 3. Very Good; 4. Good; 5. Fair.].
