About This Item

Truckee, CA: Crowley & Mcglashan. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1879. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. Rebound: when I purchased the book, it was in pieces. I had it rebound in the original boards, by the finest bookbinder I know (Book Crafts, in Portland, Oregon). Phil Made a new spine, laying on the remains of the original spine (~2/3 of the spine, including the title) & keeping the original boards & endpapers. The boards are rubbed at the corners, but otherwise are in very good condition. There is a stamp on the fep: ? . S. Denison, News Agency, C. . & W. P. R. R, Sacramento, Cal. These would be the Central Pacific and Western Pacific Railroads. ; Phil did, as usual, a very fine job on the book. It can be read without damage. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 193 pages .
