Large 4to, 35 x 22 cm. Twenty full-page copper engraved plates by Fourdrinier [see: RUSSELL --GUIDE TO BRITISH TOPOGRAPHICAL PRINTS, p.190], folding plan of Edinburgh, plus two additional 19th century maps of Edinburgh bound-in: one dated 1828 (Drawn and engraved for the General Post Office), and Plan of Leith by W.H. Lizars. Index. Raised bands, spine panels decorated in gilt, top margins dampstained not affecting text, one map repaired at verso with archival tape, text clean overall.
