Arranged in 2 Parts, each with it's own Title page and Colour Frontispiece, Part 1 has 4 Chapters, from 1066 to 1400. Frontis is a Colour Plate of a Norman Hunting Scene. Part 2 covers 1500 to 1799, Frontis is a Colour Plate shoqing Elizabet I hunting. Grey cloth cover Illustrated with people in period costume, and black lettering to front. Black lettering to spine. 243 Pages + publisher's adverts. 9" Tall. Spine a little tanned. 1 plate loose. Previous owner's inscription on ffep and a small piece clipped from the top of the page. Weighs 1.6 Kilos so Shipping outside UK will be a little extra. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
