Shelfwear, light rubbing; head and heel of spines bumped. Hinges of vol. 1 a little loose, but entirely secure; not starting. Vol.5 starting at p.81. Vol.6 starting at rear gutter and p.356 / 57. EPs plain, age-toned. Previous owner's bookplate to ffep of each volume. Internally free of underlining, marginalia, or any other such blemishes. Replete with plates throughout, many with tissue guards. Colour frontispiece. Ports. "Embracing an investigation of the records of the organizations of the fraternity in England, Scotland, Ireland, British Colonies, France, Germany, and the United States." (title page).
