London: Chatto & Windus, 1883. First Edition. Half Leather. Near Fine +/No Dustjacket. Spectacular Zaehnsdorf bindings of very dark navy blue, with gilt titles along the spine. Remainder of boards as well as endpapers are marbled. Light rubbing of spine edges. Corners range from fine to slightly bumped and worn. Gilt top edge. Text clean and pages in excellent condition, the slightest of slightly yellowed, which can only be expected for books of their age. All in all one the rare sets of books that have managed to maintain their condition as the decades pass.
