New York: The Grolier Club, 1901. Limited edition. Hardcover. Fine. Also 21052, but no prospectus. Small 4to. xviii, (2), (150), 2pp. Introduction signed: R.H. (i.e. Robert Hoe). "One of three hundred and twenty-five copies on Whatman paper, and three copies on vellum." This copy on Whatman paper. Bound in full leather with Wynkyn de Worde's device on covers and clasps.
tr. by Robert Copland from the French version published in Paris in 1504. A literal reprint in the types of Wynkin de Worde after the unique copy printed by him upon parchment in London, MCCCCCXII.
A lovely copy with only a trace of wear.
Accompanied by the 4 page prospectus.
