From the Civilization of the American Indian Series, noted as volume 106 on the rear jacket. Copyright 1970 and published 1971 by University of Oklahoma Press (Oklahoma). First Edition, 2nd Printing as stated on the dust jacket. Signed and inscribed by the author on the title page. Dust jacket has $8.95 on the front flap with pencil marks crossing out the price. Jacket shows wear to include small wrinkles, sunfade, nicks, chips, small tears, and shelfwear. Brown cloth hardcovers show wear such as light foxing, sagging textblock, wavy textblock signatures, tanned top edge, scuffs, scratches, and shelfwear. Foreedge textblock shows foxing and there is a brown spot on the bottom edge. Ex-libris sticker on the front pastedown and former bookstore sticker on the rear pastedown. There does not appear to be any writing in the text. Overall, this book is in Very Good condition.
