Tight except for cracked endpaper, light age yellowing to pages, clean interior, exterior has a few spots on the front cover and age soil to top, exterior page edges. Bottom spine end is softened and has small chips, top spine end is chipped. Chapter XI from "State of the Rebellion when Cornwallis arrived" through " "Great Unpopularity of Grattan". Chapter XII - "The Union - Part I from "The Union during the Commonwealth" through "The Session of 1799". Chapter XIII - The Union - Part II from "Means by which the majority was secured", "Opinion outside Parliament", "The Irish Parliament 1800", "Evils to be remedied largely non-political", "the Catholic question" to the Conclusion. 495 indexed pages.
