Glascow, Scotland: James MacLehose and Sons, 1906. Three volumes. Limited Edition on handmade paper; this set being # 75/100. Volume 1: 337 pages. Volume 2: 397 pages. Volume 3: 386 pages. Pages are in very good condition; clean and white. Small stain on the bottom edge of front endpapers in Volume 3. Previous owner's name and address on the fep of all three volumes and small embossed stamp on the title pages. Many illustrations and maps; several are fold-outs. Top edges gilt. Quarter bound with vellum over red cloth. Gilt titles and decoration on the spines. Gilt emblem on the upper covers. Spines are a little darkened, with a few small stains. Some minor rubbing and stains on the cloth. Corners are bumped and a little frayed. Bindings all tight. Beautiful set. VERY GOOD. Hard Cover. Very Good.
