Collates (x) including TP, dedication & subscribers' list, iii-viii, 1-712; AND viii, 713-1410, complete with 122 plates, maps & plans (many folding), Plus 148pp (continuation) with 11 Plates, Maps & plans. Period full leather leather repairs to corners and joints, rebacked with elaborately gilt tooled spines, raised bands, twin spine labels, hinges reinforced with tape. Superb clean set. No ownership marks. Copies complete with the 148pp continuation and 11 extra plates are rare indeed. We can find only one other copy sold at Chrisites in the nineties.
