Halifax: A.W. Bowen & Co. 1916. (Hardcover set) 387, [388]-941, 700pp. Very good. 3 / 4 leather with burgundy cloth boards. Complete in 3 volumes. All edges gilt, historical indices, appendices. The third volume, edited by Clyde Tuck consists of biographical sketches of representative citizens and genealogical records of the old families, including a biographical index, photographs, and portraits. The hinges are cracked with some minor attendant chipping, there is a small previous owner's stamp on the front endpapers of the first 2 volumes. Internally the set is in fine condition. Locale: ; Maritime Provinces--Canada. (Sets, Canada, Family Histories--Nova Scotia, Sets).
