Quarto, 10 1/2" tall, 5 banded spine, full calf, marbled endpapers and fore-edges, both covers present, Internal binding solid BUT back strip heavily chipped, front free endpaper and flyleaf missing, as well as title page and ? frontmatter pages missing] + last 3 biography pages present + xx (20) contents + 828 pages of text. Text pages are generally clean and light to moderately yellowed. Because of size and weight postage will be higher than usual.
