[complete 19 parts of text in one volume]This is a problem volume, lacking the first pages of the prefixed author's biography as well as the title page itself, but containing the contents pages and all other parts of the text, with both covers loose. Sold as a reference or reading copy. Quarto, 10 1/2" tall, 5 banded spine, full calf, marbled endpapers and fore-edges, both covers present, Internal binding solid BUT back strip heavily chipped, front free endpaper and flyleaf missing, as well as title page and ? frontmatter pages missing] + last 3 biography pages present + xx (20) contents + 828 pages of text. Text pages are generally clean and light to moderately yellowed. Because of size and weight postage will be higher than usual.
