About This Item
Grand Prairie, Texas: Frontier Times. Fair. 1953. Reprint. Softcover. Former owner's name inside front cover in light pencil. There are round damp spots about the size of an old glass Coke bottle and a hole in the back cover that goes though and makes a dent in the last few pages of text. The cover is worn, really just better than a reading copy. The rest of the title gives an idea of the book. "With facts and incidents in the early history of the Republic and State, from 1837 to the Annexation. Together with Incidents of Frontier Life and Indian Troubles and War on the Reserve in Young County in 1857. By Jhon (sic) W. Middleton an active participant in all the scenes described and a Texas Pioneer. " First published by The Loving Printing Co. , Fort Worth, Texas 1883. This is the 1953 reprint. Has small ring marks thoughout about size of snuff can. .
