Hardcover. Fair. This is volume five of an eight volume account of the lives of people under the Roman Empire. It includes a fold out map of the city of Rome under Augustus, Former library book. The binding on this book is slightly loose and has been repaired at page 80 (between the sixth and seventh signature) and the pages are clean and unmarked except for the library markings. The cover is worn along the edges and is slightly bowed. The library has marked the book as follows: there is a sticker on the spine, a stamp on the page ends, stickers inside the front cover, a note on the foldout map, a stamp on the title page, a stamp on the table of contents, and a sticker and card holder inside the back cover.
