SCARCE in either edition, this was the first history of Russia published in English language. Very Good in contemporary half calf over marbled boards, the backs ornately decorated in gilt, marbled end papers and edges, joints showing wear yet holding nicely, triangular chip at head of spine Vol. II, rubbing at corners and edges. Internally clean and bright, a pleasing set . Second Edition. Half Calf. Very Good/No Jacket, As Issued. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
