Also known as "the Falklands War," this book explores the political background and the military aspects of the 1982 undeclared war between Great Britain and Argentina. Translated from the original Spanish, there are several maps depicting the region and military maneuvers. The author (who has a military background) provides an interesting Argentinian perspective on a war that has had a limited amount of coverage. Original red cloth covers with gilt spine and cover lettering. This book appears to have had little (if any) use. A nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings. Assumed first edition: "First published 1989" (This book does not appear to have been published with a dust jacket (this may change if jacketed copies are located). ; Maps; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 358 pages .
