About This Item
Washington, D.C.: The American Historical Association, 1911. "To this Essay was awarded the Herbert Baxter Adams Prize In European History for 1909", and Quite Indispensable. Original textured cloth binding shows light extremity wear, with small scuff to top edge (see scan). Gold Gilt spine title remains extremely bright. Square, spine rounded, edges remain perfectly concave with light age darkening. Hinges cracking, and common due to the heavy text block, but boards fully secure without issue, sewn binding remains Extremely tight. Original owner to pastedown dated 1913, otherwise internally Clean and Unmarked. Retains an old mylar, removed for scan. [Coumont N35.1.]. First Edition. Hard Cover, Cloth, Sewn. Very Good. 8vo - over 7½" tall.
