With line drawings in brown to chapter heads by Jack Brodie, and with a section of black & white plates showing people and scenes in the state, as well as several maps and charts. --- In full orange-brown cloth-covered boards with mountain scene to cover, titling to spine, both in gilt. Volume wrapped in dust jacket with color photo of a lake and mountain backdrop. --- A tightly-bound, unmarked, sturdy copy lacking significant damages. Unclipped jacket ($8.95) with chipping to tail of spine, other slight chafing to edges but mostly intact and wrapped in removable archival mylar protector.; Octavo - 8 to 9 in. tall; xi, 619 pages .
