Preface by author, list of illustrations and maps, glossary of names, map of Europe, selected bibliography, notes, three appendices, place and name index and subject index. Between pages 116 117 there are eight pages of black-and-white photographs and illustrations. At the beginning of the text there is a map of Europe. Photographic paperback binding with black coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. In 1943 Hitler had two fearsome weapons that was poised to hit Britain – The V1 flying bomb and V2 rocket. "If things had worked out as planned, the Germans could have inflicted untold damage on Britain. But all over Europe resistance movements and underground agents rally to thwart Hitler's plans. And in a tense and dramatic series of events Hitler's dreaded secret weapons were cheated of their targets ..." -- from rear panel blurb. A previous owner has covered the book in a clear contact plastic – which has started to yellow. Rubbing of the book edges and panels with rating of the back strip. White coloured sticker to the lower edge of the back strip light tanning of the text block edges and pages. Previous owner's rubberstamp to the top right-hand corner of the half title page. Attached to the verso of the front cover, with the contact plastic, is a newspaper clipping on Eileen Garlinska – in Polish.
