Text in black dialect retelling thirty-three Bible stories from the point of view of a slave. Printed off-white wrappers with overlapping edges. Spine slightly toned, overlapping edges variously frayed, small chip to top edge near spine panel, interior in fine condition. Born in New York, Kruckman (1904-1998) was an artist, cartoonist, illustrator, and author.; 10 1/4 x 8 inches .
