Hardcover, publishers brown cloth decorated with gold stamped flower designs on front and rear covers and spine. 423 pages. Illustrated with engraved frontispiece with tissue guard intact. Early printing of this Christian primer of family values. Faded previous owner's name on front free end-paper. Light wear to cloth covers, hinges sound and strong. Mild marginal toning to pages of text block and incidental foxing to first several leaves, else a clean, square, tight and unmarked copy. Near very good. .
