Dust jacket is unclipped, trivial one centimeter closed tear at upper top left of jacket with light edge wear to extremities. Scarce autograph and inscription opposite title page from Apollo 9 astronaut Russell "Rusty" L. Schweickart to the founder of Lotus software Mitch Kapor; "To Mitch Kapor - It's great to float through space with you! Rusty Scwickart." Dated "January 16, 2007". In addition, tipped into first endpaper nearly 40 original autographs from The Association of Space Explorers, world famous astronauts and cosmonauts including; Scott Carpenter (Mercury 7), Walter Cunningham (Apollo 7), John Fabian (STS-7), Donald Peterson (STS-6), Patrick Baudy (STS-51-G), John-David Bartoe (STS-51-F), Stuart Roosa (Apollo 14), Taylor Wang (STS-51-B), Wubbo Ockels (STS-61-A), Bob Overmyer (STS-5), Rusty L. Schweickart (Apollo 9), cosmonaut Svetlana Savitskaya and many more. There wereapx. 222 copies of this book with the tipped in sheet of autographs usually ranging from about 30-40 astronauts. Of those, very few were additionally signed and inscribed by Rusty L. Schweikart, as of this writing this is the only known copy for sale on the market with Rusty's personal inscription.
