New York: The World Publishing Company, 1946 Dark green cloth covers with gold imprinting on the spine. Minor rubbing on the corners and top/bottom of spine, consistent with shelfwear, as well as some rubbing on the back of the spine, else very good. 346 cream-colored pages which are clean with a couple of pages that have the top corner torn off. The title page and the dedication pages have the top corner torn off and the title page has an open tear in the page, else very good. Many line drawing illustrations by the author. The binding is good and tight. Ex-library with typical markings A very good edition from a non-smoking household. We ship daily. Pictures available upon request.. First Edition, 3rd Printing. Cloth.
