About This Item

This is a hardcover book profusely illustrated with maps, photos, advertisement in black and white pictures. The book is clean and tight. It has a very light faint spot on the front edge. It looks like it was never read.

The book is inscribed and signed by the author on the first page. This book is a most for a Miami historian.

" This book recognizes the efforts of the settlers and land speculators of prior generations who platted subdivisions along the Miami River. With reckless and seemingly feckless abandon, they molded and mismatch of irregurlarly and sometrimes irrationally placed developments into today's Miami. I commend their endeavors, and want future generations to learn from them."
