Medium cracking to gutters with exposed netting, pages slightly loose. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Previous owner's inscriptions to endpapers and rear pastedown. Water staining to some pages, text remains unaffected. Annotations to some pages. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Light sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Sticker to rear board. Dents and creasing to both boards.
Synopsis
The Odyssey (Greek: Ὀδύσσεια, Odýsseia) is one of two major ancient Greek epic poems attributed to Homer. It is, in part, a sequel to the Iliad, the other work traditionally ascribed to Homer. The poem is fundamental to the modern Western canon. Indeed it is the second—the Iliad being the first—extant work of Western literature.
