Dublin: Chiswick Press, Charles Whittingham & Co., 1894. x, [4], 51pp. Contemporary green cloth, gilt. Slight rubbing to extremities. Armorial bookplate of Agnes Jekyll to FEP. George William Russell (1867-1935) Irish poet, theosophist and mystic painter. The author's first collected poems which succeeded in establishing him as a part of the Irish Literary Revival alongside the likes of W. B. Yeats and Joyce; indeed Russell appears as a character in 'Ulysses' dismissing the protagonists theories on Shakespeare. Dame Agnes Jekyll (1861-1937) British artist, writer and philanthropist. Perhaps best known as a patron of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. . First edition. 12mo.
