About This Item

St. John's: DRC Publishing. Very Good+. 2006. Softcover. 0978149629 . 136 p. 21.5 cm. Sound and square binding in cardstock covers, with french flaps. Minor wear to edges and corners. Inside pages are clean, bright and unmarked. A largely photographic history of hooked rugs from the 20th century, as created in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The bulk of the book consists of full colour photographs of rugs, with some notes about the mat and its maker. A largely lost art in the 21st century. What a shame. .
