A bit of creasing and several closed tears under 1". Mild scuffing to jacket surfaces. Gilt lettering debossed to plain brown cloth spine of brown cloth, illustrated boards. Boards are covered with rows and rows of darker brown Greek alphabet. Heavily illustrated. Clean, bright, tight. 415 pp with a note on translation, acknowledgements and index. HEAVY. May require EXTRA shipping. A splendid introduction to the history, culture, and legacy of the ancient Greeks.
