About This Item

Parnassus, NY, 1934, 1934. Limited/Numbered. Soft cover. Very Good+. Attractive quarto red printed wrappers with overlapping flaps. Simple designs on the front cover. Unpaginated. #110 of 363 copies finely printed. Neat inscription by Macleod: "for Paul Snodgrass, member of the Central Executive Committee and genial fellow worker who is so adept at countering FAscist ideologies adn downing whiskey -- in love and graciousness Rob Frost (?) July 11, 1934 Norman, Oklahoma." (signed). The poet & editor of several journals & magazines, among them Briarcliff Quarterly, Chronos, Pembroke Magazine, was at the Univ. of Oklahoma at the time of the publication of this title. He taught in several universities & schools. The usual splitting to places along the overlapping cover flaps, & a bit of exposure of the pages under the spine. Else fine. Scarce.
