Lexington, Kentucky: Self, 1905 Bound in blue cloth over white with gilt decorations of hounds running and face of fox on spine. Inscribed on front fly "From the best foxhunter to the best soldier in the land. The Author". There is a bookplate from Nelson James Edwards who was a major in the Kentucky National Guard n the 1890s. There is some loss of sheen to a spot on the blue, and a trace of soiling on the white, a solid very good condition book.
