VG. scuffs & scratches to covers. light rubbing to corners. spine ends rubbed & creased. shelf-wear/black scuffing to lower text-block edges. dustjacket has edge-wear, scratches & light pen mark.. Black cloth over boards with silver lettering on spine. 396 pp. Hundreds of BW illustrations, 24 color plates. grey dust jacket with white lettering and BW illustration, large color illustration on back. Title page inscribed and signed by both Horst and the author, Valentine Lawford. Also includes an envelope with a typed and signed letter on Horst's personal stationary. Both the book inscription and letter are addressed to Tom Lacy, a noted Broadway actor. Pages clean & bright with occasional smudges or ink ghosting from opposing pages.
